One frozen base. A full menu of drinks. One machine.
The neutral base is the “adult snow cone stand” for a bar or venue: one machine freezes a neutral base, and your team adds flavor at the pour. A single piece of equipment runs your whole frozen lineup — with alcohol or without. Less equipment, less floor space, more drinks.
The adult snow-cone-stand model
Instead of a separate machine for every frozen drink, you freeze one neutral base and add the flavor on the side. Here’s the whole idea in three steps.
1 · Freeze one base
One machine freezes the neutral base. The sugar level is tuned so it freezes the right way — consistent every time, no guesswork.
2 · Add the flavor
Flavor is pumped in on the side at the pour and stirred — every drink on your menu comes off the one frozen base.
3 · One machine, full menu
No machine-per-flavor. One base runs them all, so you save on equipment and floor space and still pour a full lineup.
The same base — your call on the alcohol
Every neutral base works the same way in the machine. The only question is whether it carries alcohol — and that’s the thing guests and staff ask about most. Here it is, side by side.
- No alcohol — a “virgin” frozen base
- Freezes in your machine at the right sugar level
- Add your own flavors at the pour
- Serve anywhere — no alcohol license needed
- The base for zero-proof frozen drinks and mixers
- Real alcohol, wine-based — the same base with alcohol built in
- Freezes and flavors exactly like the virgin base
- Pours on your beer & wine license — no liquor license
- Zath: 12% ready-to-use, or a 14% concentrate cut to 8.5%
- SB16: a clean 16% base built for high-volume operators

What is a neutral base?
It’s a frozen base you build drinks on. One machine freezes the base at the right sugar level; your team adds flavor at the pour and stirs. One piece of equipment pours a whole frozen menu — like an adult snow cone stand.
Does it contain alcohol?
Your choice. The Neutral Base is non-alcoholic — a virgin base. Zath and SB16 are the same idea with real, wine-based alcohol built in. Every base freezes and flavors the same way.
Do I need a liquor license?
No. The alcoholic bases (Zath, SB16) are wine-based and pour on a beer & wine permit. The non-alcoholic base needs no alcohol license at all.
What equipment does it take?
A single frozen-drink machine to freeze the base, plus a pump to add flavor at the pour. That’s the whole point — one machine instead of one per flavor, so you save equipment and space.
How do I add flavors?
Flavor goes in on the side at the moment you pour, then gets stirred in. Ask us which flavors pair with each base for your setup.
